Boarding

At Whitetail Ridge Farm, we strive to offer great care at an affordable price. Horses' needs are given top priority, and we manage our farm to allow access to grassy pastures, socialization in small, compatible turnout groups, and mud-free paddocks during inclement weather.

Hay is available free-choice during the winter months, and generously fed during summer months when the horses spend the days on pasture.

Stalls are 10'x13' and each has a window.  Our indoor arena is 70'x130' and features washed mason sand footing to reduce dust and maintain a cushiony, supportive working surface for your horse. Abundant natural light during the day and three rows of lighting for night riding make the arena an inviting place to enjoy your time with your horse.

Starting September, 2009, we will offer limited pasture boarding opportunities. Your horse will share a roomy pasture with up to three other compatible horses. Pasture board will include free choice hay during the winter and a large shelter.

No. More. Mud!

Thoughtful paddock construction means your horse will never have to stand in mud! Footing consists of a rock base topped with crushed limestone screenings. Manure and discarded hay are removed daily to maintain a clean environment. Paddocks are equipped with hay feeders and sheds, and horses are placed in small, compatible groups to allow equal access to food and shelter.
